Team Manager - Bank Operations & PaymentsRACQ Bank is seeking a skilled and motivated Team Manager – Bank Operations & Payments to lead and manage essential payment and settlement processes within our Bank Operations team. ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the Bank Operations team by setting clear goals, coaching for performance, and fostering a culture of accountability to meet and exceed operational targets.Payment and Settlement Management: Oversee the day-to-day processing of critical payment-related services, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with RACQ's standards and regulatory requirements.Process Optimisation: Conduct continuous reviews and development of operational processes, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and member satisfaction.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all payment and settlement activities align with regulatory standards and internal policies, reducing risk and maintaining RACQ's trusted reputation.Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with vendors and external partners, working collaboratively to implement industry or regulatory changes and ensuring seamless service delivery.Regulatory Change Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external entities to ensure the successful rollout of regulatory updates or industry initiatives within operations.About youProven experience in a team leadership role within financial services, particularly in operations and payment processing.In-depth knowledge of banking operations and payment systems, including familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance practices.Demonstrated ability to manage vendor contracts and collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering operational excellence.A degree in business, finance, or a related field is highly desirable.Why join RACQ?It is an exciting time to be part of RACQ as we continue our transformation towards better, smarter solutions that deliver more security and prosperity for Queenslanders.
