This is a full time, permanent position living and working in Alice Springs, Central Australia and will include regular travel to remote communities across the NPY Lands.
Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (NPY) Women's Council was founded by and is led, governed and directed by women from the NPY region.
It was created to give a voice to women across 26 desert communities in the cross-border regions of Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Today, they continue to provide progressive, innovative and evidence-based work in service delivery, advocacy and support.

As the Team Leader – Youth Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of five remote Community Youth Programs, with support from the Program Manager and Assistant Manager.
You will lead from the front with a 'hands-on' approach while providing support, supervision, and guidance to your program delivery team.
The successful candidate will have a strategic approach, be a natural relationship builder, and display excellent communication and report writing skills.
In addition, you will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in areas such as Sports & Recreation, Youth Work, Social Work, or Community Services and preferably have previous experience working at a similar level within remote or regional communities.
The personal qualities for this position include social inclusion, compassion, resilience, and determination.
You will have a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement and development, with the ability to engage, listen, and deliver excellent service to the remote communities within your region.
