We are currently recruiting for professional Team Leaders.
About the role Assists the Assistant Manager - The Dining Room by ensuring that all policies and procedures are successfully executed.Provides exceptional guest service at all times and handles all guest and colleague inquiries and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner.Ensures that the food and beverage standards are implemented.Taking reservations, greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage list.Provide guests with recommendations of beverages as well as dishes and wines to complement food in a friendly and professional manner.Taking orders and serving food and beverages in a professional manner.Providing table service such as opening bottles and pouring beverages, clearing tables by returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen, removing empty bottles and used glasses from the table and refilling/replacing glasses.Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash register.Is a hands-on Team Leader and is present at all times in the Dining Room, especially during busy periods.Nurtures and develops each team member, maximizing their effectiveness by developing their skills and abilities through appropriate training and coaching.Salary package range: $65k - 70KQualificationsTo be considered for this role the candidate should possess the following: Proven fine dining restaurant experience and qualification in food and beverage service training, preferably diploma or certificate in Hospitality or Tourism management.2 years minimum experience in a similar role and environment.Current NSW RSA License.Well-rounded knowledge of wines and beverages, coffee making skills.Basic computer literacy skills particularly in the use of MS Office.Working at Park Hyatt Sydney will include: Access to employee benefits such as complimentary shift meals, discounts for the Spa and all Food and Beverage outlets.Access to complimentary and discounted Hyatt accommodation worldwide.Access to internationally recognised learning and development programs and opportunities.Access to an employee assistance program and paid family leave benefits.Being part of a diverse and inclusive team, passionate about their work.A career with Hyatt opens a world of opportunities.
