About the Role Our Team Leaders are empowered to strategically drive growth in their team, undertake all aspects of people management, development and planning in line with Branch strategy, while managing a portfolio of commercial clients. This role will see you lead and manage a small team of insurance professionals, as well as your own portfolio of clients to achieve financial targets. You will oversee all operational aspects of the team alongside the Branch Operations Manager and be responsible for delivering profitable and sustainable business performance through strategic team planning, implementation of the overall goals and strategies of the Liverpool Branch and financial management. As Team Leader, you will relish the opportunity to maintain and build client relationships while enhancing Gallagher's visibility in the market, especially the community in Launceston and broader Tasmania.
About you You will be a commercially astute Team Leader or Sales Leader with a strong industry background, someone who is passionate about the client experience and can demonstrate:
Previous people management (or equivalent) experience with people leadership skills gained within insurance broking is preferred, however we are open to leaders whom might have acquired these skills through other industries.Have an innate understanding and passion for sales, driving revenue and growthRelationship building with the ability to lead and influence othersAbility to develop, coach, motivate and lead other broking staffMaintain long term relationships with key clients, suppliers, agencies, Insurance Industry bodies while promoting and protecting the Gallagher brandThis is an exciting time to join Gallagher, who is going through exponential growth, and we are looking for a results driven sales leader, someone who is collaborative and agile, who is adept with change and can drive these attributes within a high performing team.
