(subject to review and approval)About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a HP4 team leader to join our surgical/Outpatients team.
Within this role, the successful applicant will provide leadership, support, and skill building within our surgical and outpatient (hands/burns and Pain Management team).
This team leader will join our Medical and Neurosciences Team Leaders.
We are inviting suitably qualified Occupational Therapists with more than five years of experience as an HP3 to apply.
Suitable applicants will have experience working with a broad range of surgical conditions and a willingness to learn about hands/burns and Pain Management to facilitate support and coverage in these areas.
Our Occupational Therapy Department provides services across the Canberra Hospital, including critical care units, medical and surgical wards, outpatients, and maternity and paediatrics.
Staff will have the opportunity to help the team across these areas on a need's basis.
We support qualified Occupational Therapists of all levels embarking on a career move into hospital Occupational Therapy by providing skill development support from our Workforce Clinical Educator, supervision, and access to funded professional development opportunities.
As the Canberra Hospital continues to expand, so does our Occupational Therapy Department.
This growth has opened up leadership and higher duties opportunities with mentoring support.
