As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Team Leader.
Position: Team Leader Responsibilities: Supervision and Leadership: Provide effective leadership and supervision to a team of support workers. Mentor and coach team members to ensure they deliver quality care services in accordance with organisational standards and NDIS guidelines. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Client Management: Oversee the coordination and delivery of care services to clients, ensuring their individual needs and preferences are met. Conduct regular assessments of clients' needs and preferences, and collaborate with the team to develop and review individualised care plans. Liaise with clients, their families, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of care. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information, care plans, and service provision. Prepare reports and participate in team meetings to review performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies for enhancement. Training and Development: Facilitate training sessions and workshops for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in areas such as disability support, person-centered care, and risk management. Support the professional development of team members through regular performance feedback, goal setting, and recognition of achievements. Qualifications and Skills: Diploma or higher qualification in Disability Services, Community Services, or a related field. Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the disability or community services sector. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Sound knowledge of the NDIS framework and relevant legislation, regulations, and standards. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Demonstrated commitment to person-centered care and continuous quality improvement. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
