Student Services | UniSC Sunshine Coast, Sippy Downs Level 8, $111,613 - $122,710 p.a., plus up to 17% employer superannuation Full-time, fixed-term appointment until mid January 2025 (parental leave coverage) The Opportunity You'll lead a dedicated team in driving strategic communication initiatives to enhance current student engagement, conversion, transition, and success until graduation. Responsible for managing information and communications across digital platforms, social media, the student portal, and service campaigns, you'll ensure consistency and quality in student communications. Additionally, you'll oversee the university-wide Orientation program and annual student-life plan, shaping an exceptional student experience at UniSC. For more information, please visit us online Student Services You will manage a team of professional staff to deliver strategic communication outcomes for students, staff and the university; collaborate across the university to explore innovative and impactful communication approaches with the student experience front of mind; and use evidence-based insights to ensure student communications and events are relevant, timely and are reflective of the UniSC brand as part of the University's strategic approach to improving the student experience, success, and retention outcomes. About you You seamlessly manage and meet deadlines through meticulous planning, organisation and prioritisation of workloads, all while motivating staff to produce and deliver high-quality work of exceptional standards. Your excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills demonstrate your experience in effectively liaising with stakeholders at various levels, both internally and externally. Additionally, your strong analytical and problem-solving abilities enable you to evaluate impact, mitigate risks, and devise effective solutions to continuously enhance and streamline processes. You will possess: completion of a relevant undergraduate qualification with extensive experience in communications/marketing and events in conjunction with experience leading a team of professional staff to deliver excellent outcomes; a proven track record of designing and delivering communication content, campaigns and strategies in a complex organisation; Advanced digital literacy skills including proven experience working across digital communication channels with an understanding of experience centred design approaches; and experience in working with diverse client backgrounds, and awareness of social and cultural difference and needs within the University setting.
