Vestas are currently seeking a highly organised and motivated Team Leader - Stock Keeper to manage our wind farms in Queensland and New South Wales.
Supply Chain Operations is part of Vestas' growing and innovative Service Business Unit. The department runs our warehouse operations, the backbone of our supply chain, in our APAC sales business unit. Our ANZ Warehousing & Operations team supports the business by securing timely availability and reliability for delivering spares, main components, and tools. We are now looking for a Stockkeeper Team Leader to be mainly in charge of the operations in Sub region 3 and provide support to a different region if needed.
Responsibilities Responsible for the governance of regular reporting needs (consumption, availability, inventory accuracy, etc.)Provide input to budgeting data for Stock keeper teamResponsible and Accountable for all metrics that ensure performance, production and cost-out opportunitiesDevelop remote employees that models Vestas values and high standards of performanceWilling to embrace and promote Vestas' commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belongingWork as part of the supply chain organization to implement strategic supply initiatives that deliveries to targetsDevelop policies and strategies to minimize risk and streamline processesBe a Vestas safety champion, driving culture and standardsAbility to identify problems and solve them through root cause analysis, demonstrating solid pragmatic skills with attention to detailMaintain traceability of inventory control, transactions, safety stock, and warehouse managementAct as a central point of contact for regional service sites for inventory management needsContinually communicate with service site leadership managing expectationsAbility to action and delegate tasks as assigned and to know the differenceManaging periodic (non-regular) or special projects as identifiedMinimum 30% travel required between multiple sites Qualifications 4+ years in the supply chain in either complex warehousing, manufacturing, inventory, and operations. With experience in the wind industry preferredAdvanced computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
