The Role This is an exciting opportunity to lead Council's renewable energy and sustainability transformation. As Team Leader Renewables and Eco-Innovation, you will drive the strategic implementation of cutting-edge renewable systems and eco-innovative solutions across Council's extensive property portfolio. Leading a dynamic team, you'll oversee the delivery of solar and battery installations while championing broader sustainability initiatives.
This position requires a visionary leader with proven leadership experience in renewable energy projects, along with a passion for driving eco-innovation. You'll need to be equally comfortable managing complex stakeholder relationships as you are directing technical programs and inspiring teams to embrace sustainable change.
About You To be successful in this role you will have:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Engineering, Renewable Energy Systems, Sustainability Management; A postgraduate qualification in Renewable Energy, Sustainability Development or Environmental Management would be highly advantageous; Minimum seven years' experience in renewable energy project management, sustainability initiatives, or related fields; Minimum three years' experience in a leadership role overseeing complex sustainability projects or programs; and Extensive experience in renewable energy project management and sustainability initiatives.
