Position Title: Team Leader Recreation and Parks Position Number: POS1575 As the Team Leader Recreation and Parks, you will be welcomed into a team that is focused on providing best practice amenity for the Launceston community. You will guide the team to deliver open space planning, park and reserve management, recreation and sporting facility management, and more. This is a pivotal leadership role with a diverse portfolio, and lots of opportunity for you to collaborate with like-minded leaders to deliver effective and valuable services in a local government context.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates, through behaviour, an alignment and an understanding of our values and has the following qualifications, skills and experience:
A relevant qualification from a tertiary institution, or substantial relevant work experience with the desire to undertake formal qualifications Substantial experience in the management of parks, reserves or recreation Demonstrated ability to effectively manage stakeholders across a broad group of interests Experience in project and asset management For further information and instructions on how to apply please go to the Careers page at and download the Employment Information Pack for this position.
