We are seeking a Team Leader Project Delivery to join our Customer Services Division, Development Services team. The Opportunity As the Team Leader Project Delivery, you will lead the Project Delivery Team in all functions to ensure design and construction compliance is achieved during the asset creation life-cycle, minimising asset life-cycle costs, and meeting external customer expectations of time, cost, and quality. What you'll do: Provide leadership to actively support timely progress and quality outcomes, building capability and capacity, to improve customer experience and promote ease-of-doing business in all dealings. Ensure all activities are undertaken effectively and efficiently with the safety of our people as the number one priority, always role modelling safe behaviours. Promote continuous improvement mindset, collaboration and strategic alignment of core functions, objectives, KPIs and KRAs to division and corporate strategic outlook. Listen and learn from interactions with members of Hunter Water, the public, and other external stakeholders, including Developers and their consultants on matters relating to Hunter Water policy, design and construction standards or specific Developer applications. Provide mature engineering advice, commercial, legal and HR/IR input, sensitive to the needs of our organisation and customers. What you'll need to be successful: Bachelor of Engineering. Extensive design and/or construction experience, familiar with industry practices, standards and quality processes in the water industry. Familiar with safety management systems, asset quality systems and managing performance to achieve the ongoing desired quality standards. Leadership experience of technical teams, preferably in a frontline customer service environment. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication, problem solving and negotiation. WSAA Water & Sewer Designer Accreditation. Understanding of the Developer Works certification system, documentation, process maps, accountability and responsibilities of parties, checklists and compliance certificates.
