The phone sales team leader is a newly created, Head Office based role and this is an exciting time to join the team. There is an opportunity to grow for high achievers and relocation assistance is available.Based in the Yeppoon head office (you'll need to live around Yeppoon / Rockhampton) and reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for leading and managing the growing phone sales team and capability. The phone sales team is a crucial part of the business and due to ongoing above-trend business growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and engaging leader to lead and mentor the growing team.Other responsibilities include:Achieve targets, KPIs, and call rates.Grow and exceed budget targets.Work closely alongside the KAMs, BDM, and National Sales Manager to execute carefully planned promotional activities.Be proactive and prepared to join the team in making phone sales calls and securing sales.Engage, train, and develop the team on Keppel's complete phone repping approach.Maintain regular communication and sales with distributors, their team members, and shared customers.Database input and management.Reporting results to the business.Keeping updated with valuable industry/customer/region information and sharing this with the wider sales team.Provide reliable, high-level in-field support (including some business travel).Help develop the sales approach as a telemarketing team.Ideally, you are currently in a similar role focused on driving business through the effective use of tele sales and the management of a team. FMCG experience is beneficial but certainly not essential. This role is all about managing high-performing phone sales teams in a sales-focused business with a people-focused approach to achieving business targets and driving team engagement.With a genuine passion to impact the commercial strategies of a significant business, you are capable of making sound decisions and are renowned for your tenacity in 'closing the deal' and for building strong relationships with your customers.This is an opportunity to really make your mark.
