Job Description
Elastomers Australia is currently seeking a hands-on Team Leader to join the team.
This is a night shift role working 3 days per week, Monday – Wednesday, 2:50pm – 4:00am (totalling 38 hours).
Reporting to the Factory Supervisor, the focus of the role as a Team Leader is to oversee the manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met, whilst providing support with all employee relations including staffing, training and performance issues.
Duties
Coordinate manufacturing operations and ensure set production schedule is met each shift, whilst ensuring product standards and specifications align.
Supervise team members while driving a high-performance culture amongst the Manufacturing Team and assisting with the coordination of Training & Development.
Assist with the implementation of manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure all shifts are meeting strategic objectives.
Ensure Toolbox and prestart meetings are attended.
Ensure compliance with Elastomers Australia policies and procedures, including strict adherence to OH&S and QA policies both internally and externally.
Requirements
Previous experience leading a team of staff.
Team-oriented with clear interpersonal communication skills.
Personable and able to work with different stakeholders.
Demonstrated technical skills to operate factory equipment, assist in maintenance and communicate maintenance issues.
Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on and assist team members on the floor.
Demonstrated knowledge and practice of OHS in day-to-day operations.
