The City of Bunbury is looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Leader Marketing & Communications to lead the team in delivering high-impact corporate communications, media liaison and marketing services for the City of Bunbury.
As the Team Leader, you will oversee the City's brands, manage high-profile marketing campaigns, and develop communication strategies that align with Bunbury's strategic direction.
You will work closely with internal teams, elected members, and community stakeholders to ensure consistent, impactful messaging that enhances the City's profile as a vibrant place to live, work, and invest.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the City's marketing and communications activities, including internal and external communications, marketing, and media liaison. Develop and implement strategic marketing and communication plans aligned with the City's vision and goals. Coordinate City campaigns that promote Bunbury as a premier destination. Manage the City's brands, ensuring accurate and consistent representation across all platforms. Provide strategic communications advice to staff, leaders, and elected members. Proactively address and respond to high-profile, political, and sensitive issues. Skills and Experience: Proven leadership experience in managing teams within a marketing and communications setting. Demonstrated ability to develop, deliver, and measure strategic communications plans. Strong experience in developing and delivering marketing campaigns, and brand management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships. Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a communications, marketing, or public relations role. WA C Class Driver's Licence (or equivalent). Why Join Us?
