About The Role
As Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring the community are utilising the Library Facilities as well as engaging in the suite of programs tailored to the interests of the community.
Foster collaboration with each other, schools, business, groups and engagement with the library resources and collection for improved access, knowledge and literacy outcomes.
Libraries are no longer a place just to access books – there is a whole range of materials available, including 24/7 digital offerings and our branches are community hubs that provide programs and events which foster contentedness and community spirit.
About You
We are looking for someone who can display initiative, energy, and decisiveness, be flexible, adaptable, and optimistic applying a 'can do' attitude.
To Lead, engage, coach and support the development of team members to ensure an accountable culture where expectations on programs and individual/team program objectives are consistently achieved.
You will have: Demonstrated experience in change management, innovation, and process improvement.Experience in coaching and leading a team to meet performance targets.Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent is desirable, or a lesser qualification together with substantial experience in delivering programs in a community environment.
