We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Team Leader to join our team on a fulltime basis. About us: Right at Home is a leading home care provider with over 512 offices around the world. We provide a wide range of care services all designed to help our clients stay in their homes. Our home care services include companion, personal, nursing, respite, transportation, aged, disability, transitional, 24 hour, and palliative care.
About the role: Team Leaders are responsible for implementing training and support services aimed at maximising the living, employment, social and recreational skills of people in the community aged care and people with a disability.
Team Leader also play an integral role in the provision of high quality care to our clients at all times. The Team Leader supports the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate care to the clients across the home whilst actively ensuring the individual needs, wishes and goals of each client is met within an environment where they feel supported, valued and treated with dignity and respect.
The ideal candidate for our team will have experience in community aged and/or disability care. They will have existing relationships with care facilities, hospitals, and clinics to support business development opportunities. This person will have the ability to connect with others naturally and effortlessly and the confidence to market Right at Home services to potential clients and referral sources.
Qualifications Qualifications: Certificate III in Aged/Disability Care (minimum)
Preferred Skills Preferred Skills: Experience in Community Aged Care/Disability Care (Team Leader experience) Certificate lll / lV in Home and Community Care (or similar) Willingness to travel distance and be willing to work various hours. A roadworthy and registered vehicle and hold a current C class drivers' licence Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to demonstrate empathy with elderly residents. First-aid & CPR The ability, and commitment, to uphold high standards of work.
