We have a role for a Team Leader - IT Inside Sales & Procurement based in either our Darwin or Brisbane office. You will be responsible for leading the Procurement Team in providing inside sales and administrative support in the sale, procurement, and supply of IT hardware and software products to existing and new customers, ensuring customer satisfaction in the sale and delivery process.
Duties Day-to-day operational management of the Sales & Procurement Team providing a high level of customer service.Liaising with the sales team, collating and providing timely and accurate product and supply information to customers.Ordering of products from various suppliers and responding to quotation requests using computer-based accounting systems.Customer interaction and follow-up of quotations.Performing sales support and administrative tasks to meet the deliverables of customer contracts.Ensuring order processing and tracking.Stock logistics and management, including dispatch of goods to customers, and manual handling of inventory.Coordinating with freight companies.Compiling relevant data, preparing and providing customer reports.Identify areas for improvement and develop procurement strategies.Coordinating and tracking of warranty calls.Administrative tasks and support relating to the warranty service life cycle.General administrative duties such as answering phones, data entry, collating and preparing various documents.Qualifications A qualification in Procurement or similar field.IT-related certification or IT product knowledge is desirable.Experience Experience in leading a team.Minimum of 5 years' experience in an office admin or similar position.Liaising with customers and suppliers.Proficient in Word and Excel, intermediate and above.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Personal Attributes Willingness to take direction.Be proactive.Team player.Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.Professional in appearance.About us Area9 supports diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, and continuously develops a happy and safe place to work, creating a team of valued and long-term employees.
