This is a multi-disciplinary position - applications are sought from Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and / or Social Workers. The Team Leader will provide operational leadership and coordinate a specialist service for community members (and their families) across the lifespan who experience complex and severe problems relating to their mental health and/or alcohol, or other drug use disorders.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following: High level managerial leadership and strategic direction to support the operational management of a team, ensuring the delivery of quality recovery focused care.Provide high level intake, assessment and treatment services.Foster a culture of evidence-based practice, continuous quality improvement and effective risk management.Build and sustain positive relationships with team members, consumers and families/carers, other government and non-government service.High standard of written and oral communication skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation, to effectively communicate and collaboratively work with consumers and families and carers, members of the multi-disciplinary team, staff across the HHS and other service providers.Support team members to develop appropriate skills to their roles and to maximise their potential to deliver high quality service provision with a focus on evidence-based assessment, treatment and intervention.All employees of the Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the Service. Salary range of $5081.10 to $5630.00 p.f.
