A little bit about the role City of Boroondara is a leader in the Local Government sector and one of the nation's most liveable municipal councils.
The Team Leader Infringement Review plays a key role in the leadership of the Civic Services Department, which delivers multiple regulatory services to protect the health, safety, amenity and assets of the city.
Our department is a hive of activity with one of the highest customer interfaces in Council and no two days will be the same.
Reporting to the Coordinator Health, Prosecutions and Review, key responsibilities include:
Daily leadership and supervision of officers and providing coaching, training and support to deliver a high quality service to customers.Supporting your team of officers to determine outcomes to written infringement review objections submitted by customers within statutory timeframes and to apply high levels of judgement and decision making to reach outcomes.Regular review of work volumes, service queues and escalated enquiries to prioritise and load-level with the team to meet demand.Managing statistical reports and metrics to produce team work patterns, trends and insights.Development, review and continual improvement of work practices and processes to save time and increase team efficiency and output.Stakeholder engagement with other regulatory bodies.Inspiring your team by fostering an innovative, engaged, customer-focused and high performing culture. Experienced people leader with a passion for working with others and developing your teams to reach their full potential.A customer-centric mindset with demonstrated ability to promptly resolve issues and communicate outcomes.Ability to develop and foster a positive work culture and bring your team together.Experience in a technical, compliance, legislative or a similar demanding regulatory environment.Demonstrated skills in process mapping and improvement with the ability to implement process improvements across the team.
