Team Leader (INDUSTRIAL) Looking for a different challenge as a Team Leader (Industrial) whereby you can utilise your skills?

What You Will Do Responsibilities include, however not limited to: Team Leader role responsible for a team of production operators and supervisors across multiple shifts.
Oversee and lead all production operators on shift assisting and encouraging high performance to achieve production schedule. To do this you will be required to learn and understand operation of all production machines, and at times where required or available to operate machines.
Review staff performance providing regular formal and informal feedback for growth development.
Identify talent potential, skill shortages and training opportunities for direct reports to maintain uninterrupted production operations.
Assisting Manufacturing Manager with operational and capital expense budget as required.
Perform all recruitment activities to maintain necessary team headcount.
Manage team roster, leave requests, and absences. Verify and approve daily timesheets for permanent and contingent workers.
Perform remuneration reviews, calibrations, and other end of year processes for their team using HR platforms and processes.
Understand and promote production Key Performance Indicators (KPI) such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield, reduction of waste and other primary goals within the production team.
Assist in maintaining order schedule and planning production activities to achieve on-time delivery.
Using ERP system to create assembly orders, posting orders, and maintain product serials integrity.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the Quality and Environmental Health & Safety procedures and policies. Be proactive in site safety by promptly informing through EH&S Officers and representatives of any hazards, risks, or incidents.
Complete all production reports and other documentation ensuring good communication and record-keeping practices.
Ensuring a high level of tidiness and organization is maintained around production areas in pursuit of 5S and Lean manufacturing goals.
Promptly raise Maintenance team awareness of all issues using existing maintenance request processes.
Monitor production quality and inform Quality Officers of concerns, isolating defect materials and informing on scrap product.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager all concerns or disruptions risking schedule achievement.
Support business goals by making recommendations for changes to procedure, machinery, training, or other opportunities to the Manufacturing Manager.
Ensure staff are kept informed on all company procedures, policies, and other information by participating and hosting tiered meetings.
Drive improvement initiatives by helping to identify opportunities for change and continual improvement, planning and implementation of individual and group project goals.
What You Must Have Proven experience managing teams in a production environment.
Highly proficient with operation of a PC and software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
SAP experience beneficial, however not essential.
Demonstrated ability for exceptional time management, attention to detail and collaborative mindset.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team, demonstrating emotional intelligence, empathy, resilience and change agility.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, pro-actively contribute, and demonstrate inclusive behaviours with respect for diversity.
Demonstrate ethics and integrity, in line with company policy, and ensure responsible use of company assets particularly related to operation of plant and equipment.
