You will play a crucial role in overseeing and guiding a dedicated team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and services to our participants.Your leadership will be pivotal in ensuring that our participants receive personalised support that empowers them to live as independently as possible while achieving their individual goals. The overall goal of this role is to enable our staff to deliver the best possible supports to our participants.You will work a combination of direct support and administrative shifts, while predominately Monday to Friday; some weekend shifts may be rostered from time to time.Key Responsibilities of the Team Leader:Ensuring that high-quality supports are provided to participants within the ITEC service delivery model.Day-to-day supervision of your team, ensuring all compliance activities are undertaken (shift notes are up to date, tasks allocated are completed, training & e-learning is completed).All incidents are reported and managed.All Administrative tasks (ordering supplies, vehicle checks, maintenance requests etc.) are carried out in a timely manner.Undertaking employee induction, performance reviews, and team meetings.As required, working collaboratively with business support functions including People & Culture, Finance, WH&S, Facilities & Compliance.Available five days per week, with flexibility to work outside of a regular roster.Experience working with complex behavior and high-intensity supports.Strong time management and people management skills.Tertiary qualifications (Certificate IV or higher in Disability or related fields).Previous experience supervising employees.Mandatory Certification / Clearances:Working with Children Check & NDIS Clearance (Yellow Card).Hold a current HLTAID011 First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain.Hold current QLD open Drivers Licence and have your own insured vehicle.Right to work in Australia.Completed NDIS New Worker Induction and New Worker Orientation Modules.What we can offer you:No two days the same.Employee assistance program.Employee Benefits Program (Discounts Via SWAG).About ITEC:ITEC Group empowers individuals by building their capabilities and creating meaningful opportunities through our youth, employment, aged care, and disability support services.With 31 years of experience providing culturally informed services, we are a proud Australian family-owned business recognised as a First Nations specialist in employment services.We focus on understanding each individual's unique needs and aspirations, providing tailored support to help them achieve their goals.
