This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment that is subject to change and requires a driven and passionate person with a strong desire to make a difference.This position is primarily undertaking and managing various functions such as Control Room, Facility Management support, Patrols, and Customer Service within a large multifaceted site.You will be supported and mentored by an experienced Security and Facility Management team who wants to see you succeed and are committed to delivering a premium service to our customers, tenants, and visitors.RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:Provide operational support to the facility management team to deliver and exceed service expectations.Produce high-quality reports and documentation.Ensure Contractor Compliance through Site Inductions and Review and Process of Correct Access/Work Permits.Have a flexible and focused work ethic.Be proactive in Safety and Security Risk identification and issue resolution.Train, guide, and mentor a team of Security Officers.Assess all alarms, incidents, and emergencies and provide the appropriate response.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain resilience within a fast-paced environment.Understanding of Building/Facilities Management and Contractor Compliance will be highly regarded.Intermediate computer skills and use of Microsoft Office programs.Experience using Fire (FIP, EWIS, ASE) and Security Systems (CCTV, Access, DVM) will be highly regarded.Access Control and (BMS) Building Management Systems (previous experience with Honeywell systems will be highly regarded).Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.Client-centric approach with a positive attitude to change and continuous improvement.Leadership skills, the ability to drive and lead your team.Previous experience as a Chief Warden will be highly regarded.QUALIFICATIONS & LICENCES:Valid Victorian Security Licence (Control Room Endorsed).Current First Aid Certificate.Wilson Security is an employer of choice, engaging with our people both online and in person.
