Team Leader - Occupational Therapy
Location: Melbourne - various locations Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full-Time Job reference: 494616 Salary Range: $111,529.71 - $121,307.82 (depends on experience) + superannuation + salary packaging

Allied Health, Therapy is seeking a leader who will be responsible for providing best practice, evidence-informed occupational therapy services to support people with a disability to achieve their goals and lead the life of their choosing.
As Team Leader, you will hold a strong understanding of working in a human rights practice framework, transdisciplinary models of support and have excellent and proven clinical skills in your area of practice. You will provide clinical services to your clients, alongside supporting the Professional Lead with operational, strategic priorities for your relevant Allied Health Team and transdisciplinary assistance across teams.
We have offices in Sunshine, Newport, Endeavour Hills, Narre warren, Glenroy & Mitcham and your caseload will be based at one of these sites depending on your preference.
Key Role responsibilities
Specific Role Responsibilities
Process management, quality control and capacity building of employees to deliver high quality Allied Health services
Assist the Professional Lead with recruitment and workforce planning
Develop and support new employee's induction processes and procedures
Support employees to effectively manage caseloads and organisational requirements
Coordinate the allocation of therapy staff to clients and external partners in conjunction with the Professional Leads, Senior Clinicians and practitioners
Promote on the ground reflective practice and learning within your professional and multidisciplinary teams
Identify areas of priority for development within teams and support teams and individuals with human-rights focused and evidence-based core and specialist skill sets
Support the Professional Lead to manage team dynamics

Promoting and protecting the human rights of people with disability, in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) (2008);
Working to ensure high-quality and safe supports and services for NDIS participants, meeting and exceeding the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators;
Meeting obligations under all relevant Victorian and Commonwealth legislation;
Working in accordance with the Yooralla Code of Conduct and Employee Manual;
Support a risk aware culture by proactively identifying and reporting risk
