What will you be doing? Reporting to the Center Manager, this role leads a team including 1 senior technician, 4 technicians and 4 apprentices. You are responsible for coordinating workshop operations which includes a variety of activities, including but not limited to:
Managing workshop daily activities and allocating repair orders to workshop staff. Conducting fault diagnostic and quality control checks on all work performed Checking vehicle safety reports to ensure quality standards are maintained . Undertaking vehicle servicing and repairs when required Managing and controlling end to end stock and parts management. Adherence to Health and Safety legislative and RAC requirements What are we looking for in you? Recognised qualification in Automotive Trade Minimum C Class Drivers licence and Motor Vehicle Repairers Licence The ability to manage the day-to-day operations of a team. An outstanding level of mechanical servicing and fault diagnostic skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including conflict resolution skills. Strong level of computer literacy This role requires an individual with proven hands-on leadership ability and experience, excellent prioritisation, and organisational skills along with a genuine desire to develop themselves and others.
