QSS is seeking a Team Leader dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service and assisting government agencies in providing services to Queenslanders.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Lead, coach and manage a functional team providing 'best practice' services including:monitoring workflows, resource allocation, team performance and internal controlsreporting on processing volumes against service agreement timings and identify and proactively mitigate risks of breach to agreed timeframesencouraging innovation and a 'high performance' team culturecontributing to operational planning, performance measures and budget projectionsMonitor and report on service delivery outcomes in line with service agreements and contribute to the ongoing development of these agreements.Provide authoritative and timely advice to senior management and clients on emerging issues that leads to the implementation of best practice services to our customers.Undertake research, analysis and investigation of service delivery issues and implement effective solutions aligned with and supporting business objectives.Develop and conduct staff development and training programs to improve and broaden workforce skills to meet changing demands and productivity requirements.Develop and maintain positive, constructive relationships with clients and other stakeholders to ensure services and advice are responsive to their current needs and future direction.Communicate effectively with staff, senior management, auditors and client agencies.Work collaboratively with other business groups to provide feedback and advice to the Manager and Director on existing and new business process reform initiatives, and continuously review, enhance and implement improved standardised work practices and tools to achieve real and measurable change and productivity improvements.Build the capability of staff within the team to sustain performance and meet current and future demands through effective leadership, coaching and professional development strategies.Contribute to an accountable, fair and safe work environment embracing human resource management practices including workplace health and safety, employment equity, anti-discrimination and performance management.Applications to remain current for 12 months Further informationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights ( https://www.forgov.qld.gov.au/humanrights ) and diversity ( https://www.forgov.qld.gov.au/inclusion-and-diversity-commitment ).
