About the role We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our busy production team at our salad processing facility in Bairnsdale. You will be responsible for working towards achieving production targets while working effectively and efficiently towards strict food quality standards. Day shift available. We do work some public holidays and Sundays during our peak period (penalty rates apply) .
Key Responsibilities Supervise teams of Process Workers and Machine Operators Motivate and mentor teams to encourage positive morale and high productivity Achieving output and line speed targets within set timeframes Maintain a strong focus on working safely and adhere to food safety standards Work in a cold room environment (between 2 and 4 degrees) About You Experience within FMCG, as a team leader or similar experience Must be physically fit, able to repetitively lift between 5-20kg Ability to think on your feet and outside the box Hands on approach to achieving KPI's High accuracy rate and excellent attention to detail Proficient computer and organizational skills Some knowledge of CI (Lean Manufacturing concepts) - highly regarded but not essential Promoting process changes Awareness and high regards in food safety, quality assurance and HACCP, would be good but we will train you What we offer An opportunity to advance your skills and capability working alongside industry professionals A collaborative team environment with a dynamic company in a high-growth sector The chance to contribute to a company that is making a real difference in the lives of Australians Free and secure on-site parking Belonging One Harvest is an inclusive, equal opportunity workplace where individual strengths are valued, leading to increased diversity & innovation.
