Community Corrections services the entire Northern Territory with regional offices in Darwin, Alice Springs, Katherine and Tennant Creek with smaller offices located in Nhulunbuy, Groote Eylandt and Wadeye.

A career as a Team Leader with NT Community Corrections is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to make a difference in your community.
In your role you will supervise a team of Probation and Parole Officers to provide comprehensive case management to address behaviour change and ensure individuals comply with their orders and associated conditions.
PPOs work closely with community networks to maintain stakeholder relationships to facilitate access to therapeutic and rehabilitative pathways.
Community Corrections are looking for applicants who ideally have either experience as a Team Leader or significant experience as a Probation and Parole officer combined with staff supervision experience and who:
have experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.hold strong interpersonal skills and effective working relationships with communities and key stakeholders.demonstrate resilience, integrity and problem-solving skills.possess excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.communicate with highly developed written and oral skills.Northern Territory Community Corrections is a professional, integrated and culturally inclusive service that provides a positive and innovative working environment.

Parrtjima - A Festival in Light takes place over 10 days each April in the desert outside Alice Springs.
