$100,512 to $112,622pa (HEW 7) Fixed term (12 months), Full-time, Joondalup campus Open to candidates with relevant work rights TEAM LEADER GRADUATE RESEARCH SERVICES RESEARCH SERVICES JOONDALUP CAMPUS $100,512 - $112,622 HEW 7  FULL-TIME, FIXED TERM 1 YEAR (Maternity Cover) Overview Research Services provides strategic and operational support to the University's research programs, and has a crucial role in developing the University's research capability and facilitating the University's research outcomes, through its Schools and Institutes.
An exciting opportunity exists (maternity cover) within Research Services where we are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive person to join our Graduate Research Services (GRS) Team.
The position of Team Leader will work closely with the Manager, Graduate Research Services, Dean, Graduate Research, Associate Deans (Research) and the dedicated GRS team.
The role will manage and coordinate research support services for doctoral and research master candidates, perform quality assurance functions, and strengthen the research culture of the University.
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to provide leadership to the Graduate Research Services Team, use your analytical skills to investigate and analyse issues relating to research and use that information to help inform the development of a range of relevant and contemporary support and procedures to assist HDR candidates and supervisors.
Project work will also be very important in this role and the successful person will be responsible for planning and delivering on projects that will contribute to the Graduate Research Services' objectives.
Key Criteria  The successful applicant will have: Good coordination of projects including managing timelines and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
Good analytical skills and the ability to make recommendations based on your findings (knowledge in Power BI or intermediate/ advanced Excel skills are desired).
High level of organisational skills, communication skills and time management.
Ability to supervise a small team to deliver high quality customer service.
The ability to build effective relationships and stakeholder engagement both within and external to the team.
Ability to work in a constantly changing environment and to investigate and take on board out-of-the-norm suggestions and putting these into practice.

Benefits & Remuneration This 1.0 FTE fixed term, maternity cover attracts a remuneration of $100,512 - $112,622pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
