Join one of WA's most innovative and forward-thinking agencies and be part of something rewarding and exciting. We are seeking two Team Leaders within our Data Analytics team: Team Leader GIS Assets Infrastructure and Analytics and Team Leader GIS Web Visualisation and Development.
As a Team Leader GIS within the Data Analytics team, you will use forward focus to anticipate change and embrace new technologies to ensure the Department's work is supported by systems and processes that enhance the way we work, deliver results for Western Australia (WA), and exceed expectations of our stakeholders.
The two Team Leaders enable informed decision-making processes based on effective use of GIS web visualisations, development, effective use of geospatial data, and understanding of risk.
These are permanent, full-time or part-time positions.
This process may be used to fill future similar permanent or fixed-term positions that may arise within the Department and across the WA public sector in the next 12 months from the initial date of appointment.
Located in Perth CBD in a convenient location, above the Perth Underground rail; close to the Wellington Street Bus Station and City CAT services.
To be successful for these positions, you need to demonstrate (Selection Criteria): Substantial experience and knowledge of developing and managing geospatial data, preferably within an Esri GIS and/or FME environment.Demonstrated knowledge of geospatial analysis relating to infrastructure and/or assets.High level written and communication skills, with the ability to produce procedural documentation.Substantial experience in managing a team in a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) environment.Substantial experience and knowledge of developing and managing GIS Web Visualisations, preferably within an Esri GIS and/or Microsoft environment.Demonstrated knowledge of 3D GIS, Power BI, and/or ArcGIS Online products.Core leadership behaviours outlined in Leadership Expectations are applicable to this role and should be demonstrated in the context of Leading Others.
