Job DescriptionAs a Disability Support Worker Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of residents in a residential facility for individuals with disabilities. You will oversee various aspects of daily living, including groceries, incontinence care, medication management, household maintenance, appointment scheduling, and facilitating weekly handovers to the Care Team, and provide personal care to individuals. Your dedication to providing high-quality care and maintaining a safe and supportive environment will greatly contribute to the residents' overall quality of life. You will be responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives. Your role involves assisting with daily activities, promoting social inclusion, advocating for the rights and preferences of clients, and fostering a safe and supportive environment. Desired Skills and ExperienceMinimum of Certificate III in Individule Support, strong leadership skills, strong communication skills, First Aid and CPR Certification, NDIS Workers Screening, National Police Clearance, Working With Children Check, Dependability and Reliability, Empathy and Compassion
