About Cocoon SDA Care Cocoon SDA Care provides support staff to NDIS-registered provider.
Our houses offer our participants a place they can call home, whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit their individual needs.
Our highly skilled and passionate team is dedicated to supporting our Participants to live life to the full.
About the role To lead a team of disability support workers.
Management of Day-to-day operation of accommodation.
Management of accommodation budget and expenditure.
Carryout any maintenance required at accommodation.
Liaise with allied health professionals.
Effective management of roster and staff issues.
Monitor health and wellbeing of participants and staff.
Organizing different recreational activities for participants.
Encouraging team and participants to meet their goals.
Coordinating team meetings and coaching staff.
Manage rosters and submit progress reports.
Coordinating meals, activities and appointments.
Additional skillsets and experience Manual Handling and personal care skills Cultural skills and knowledge Experienced support worker Leadership Excellent communication skills Medication administration  Compliance knowledge will be an advantage If you have a passion for supporting individuals to realise their full potential, make choices and be in control of the decisions that affect their lives, this could be the opportunity for you.

EAP services Mandatory requirement Certificate III in Individual Support Disability, Aged care or equivalent  First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willing to obtain.
