About the role Lead a team of disability support workers. Manage day-to-day operations of accommodation. Oversee accommodation budget and expenditure. Carry out any maintenance required at accommodation. Liaise with allied health professionals. Effectively manage roster and staff issues. Monitor health and wellbeing of participants and staff. Organize different recreational activities for participants. Encourage team and participants to meet their goals. Coordinate team meetings and coach staff. Manage rosters and submit progress reports. Coordinate meals, activities, and appointments. Additional skillsets and experience Manual Handling and personal care skills. Cultural skills and knowledge. Experienced support worker. Leadership. Excellent communication skills. Medication administration. Compliance knowledge will be an advantage. Mandatory requirements Certificate III in Individual Support Disability, Aged Care, or equivalent. First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willingness to obtain.
