? Annual leave: employees are entitled to 4 weeks (pro-rata for part-time employees) annual leaveper year, plus leave loading.
? Personal leave (for sick and carer's leave): employees are entitled to two weeks (pro-rata for parttime employees) personal leave per year, if they are unable to attend work due to personalillness/injury or to provide care for a spouse/partner or immediate family member.
? Paid parental leave: employees are entitled to fourteen weeks paid (or twenty eight weeks at halfpay) parental/adoption leave for the primary carer; two weeks paid leave for the secondary carer.
? Long Service Leave: Long service leave applies after 7 years continuous service.

POSITION PURPOSE (Why does this position exist)
Council's Design Development Team takes carriage of construction projects beyond the initiation stage and
progresses them to a point ready for the delivery stage.
The team works closely with internal project clients that undertake project initiation and the Project Delivery Team
that oversee the delivery stage.
The key functions of the team include:
? Community & Stakeholder Engagement
? Surveying
? Aerial mapping and investigation
? Concept, Preliminary and Detail Design
? Development of project control documentation
The Team Leader will provide leadership and co-ordination to the team in undertaking these tasks. The role will
also play a key part in the organisations forward works planning, including consideration of the team's resources
and capacity. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is critical to the success of this role, and it is
expected that the Team Leader will build working relationships to enable them to be successful.
