Uniting Country SA - Caring for Country People Position Location: Port Pirie / Kadina or Clare Position Status: Part Time FTE 0.80 Closing Date for Applications: 05th January 2024 Country Wellness Connections (CWC) is a community-based mental health support program that provides people living with a severe mental illness the opportunity to identify their individual needs and achieve their own recovery goals.
As the Team Leader you will be directly responsible for the CWC Program and will provide support to staff across the region.
You will also support and assist with applications and tenders for short term programs or projects that have a mental health focus, working alongside the existing mental health programs, or complementing them.
You will ensure that all staff under your supervision are supported to achieve the best outcomes for themselves and their clients.

Desired Skills and ExperienceYou will: Have empathy for people experiencing a mental illness.Be a supportive and nurturing leader, even when not based in the same location as your team.Show initiative and problem-solving skills when needing to prioritise work.Be forward planning and willing to assist with reporting requirements.It is essential for you to have: A current Australian Drivers Licence.A Certificate IV (or above) in a Human Services related field (e.g.
Community Services, Case Management, Disability, Mental Health, Youth Work, etc).Relevant experience leading a team in a paid or voluntary capacity.A tertiary qualification in a Human Services related field e.g.
Social Work will be highly regarded.
You may also need to be available for some out of hours work and travel between Uniting Country SA sites or interstate as required.
