Critical to this, will be a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of front-line officers who, at times, are faced with challenging situations. Then please apply, we want to hear from you.Key responsibilities include: Leading and managing the performance of the Community Safety and Parking TeamEnsuring the effective regulation of the Dog Act 1976, the City's Cat Management Local Law 2020, the City's Parking Local Law 2021 and other relevant legislationApplying effective people, financial, project and change management methods to ensure that all activities and services meet the organisation's expectations in terms of service delivery, customer satisfaction and budget.Create and manage Local Emergency Management Arrangements for the City of Fremantle in accordance with the Emergency Management Act 2005.Provide an afterhours service for the City of Fremantle to assist Hazard Management Agencies (DFES, WAPOL, SJA).A pre-employment medical is required for this position.The City of Fremantle promotes a workplace that actively seeks to include, welcome and value unique contributions of all people.
