Your Opportunity: Lead, mentor, and support a team of Occupational Therapists, ensuring quality service delivery and fostering professional development. Play an integral role in the development of staff as therapists, providing clinical supervision and guidance to enhance their skills and confidence.
As a qualified Occupational Therapist working in a community setting, you will be joining a large and collaborative multidisciplinary team providing personalised treatments.
In the role you will utilise your Occupational Therapist skills to provide clinical and therapeutic interventions that support positive health and wellbeing outcomes for customers. You will be supported by clinical treatment pathways that provide optimal rehabilitation and goal achievement for our consumers.
Duties will include, but are not limited to: The consumers you will be seeing in the community are referred through the following government funded models: Home Care Packages, Short Term Restorative Care, Commonwealth Home Support Programme, and Private funding.We are not your typical community provider; we set achievable billable KPIs (ask us more).Provide comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendations to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to the needs of Plena and community-based providers to work within the scope of the Occupational Therapy profession.There has never been a better time to join our Plena team and work towards some fantastic consumer outcomes.
