The main duties and responsibilities for this role will include the following: Assists the Management Team in efficiently managing the department according to the established concept statement providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times Ensures that all Communication Center employees are familiar with the hotel's products and services, current promotions, policies and other important information. Assist to develop the skills and effectiveness of all Communication Center employees through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring. Responsible for facilitating efficient communications for both guests and employees both within the hotel and for external communications, Handles guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, Acts proficiently in all aspects of emergency procedures. Remains calm, alert, and efficient in the event of a major incident or problem at the hotel and maintains professional discretion.
