Youth Justice Permanent Part-Time (72 hours per fortnight) Eligible remote incentives apply to this position Employees will be required to undertake non-continuous shift work The Team Leader supervises a team of professional staff to ensure the provision of high quality and culturally appropriate services.
Mandatory Requirements Travel is a requirement of this position; therefore, it is a requirement that the applicant hold a current unrestricted "C" Class Drivers licence.  This role provides support services to children and young people and therefore will require a valid Blue Card with the organisation.

Employees will be required to undertake non-continuous shift work in accordance with the Queensland Public Service Officers and Other Employees Award - State 2015.
Roster patterns will include day and afternoon shifts including weekends.
Travel away from centre: while the position is based in Mount Isa travel within the region for site visits and to other offices may be required in this role.
This may include overnight stays.
As Team Leader, you will specifically: Provide leadership supervision and professional development to staff and in the use of evidenced based skills, programs and processes associated with reductions in re-offending.
Provide support to team members, who will be providing outreach services in collaboration with the Queensland Police Service.
This may include supporting responses to critical incidents and complex situations, suicide risk management and complex situations.
Allocate, prioritise, perform and quality assure individual tasks in accordance with departmental procedures and statutory, financial and administrative delegations.
Participate in professional development and maintain knowledge of contemporary, evidence-based practice in working with young offenders, including relevant accreditation as required.
