The Team Leader – Clinical Pharmacy acts as an expert in the provision of clinical pharmacy services, providing advice and support across a broad range of clinical pharmacy issues to both internal and external stakeholders and participates as a member of the Tasmanian clinical pharmacy management team and provides leadership in the design, operation, and evaluation of clinical pharmacy services, policy review, training and project work as required.
ResponsibilitiesExtensive experience and advanced knowledge and skills in a range of activities relevant to the area of practice, including dispensing, patient counselling, clinical pharmacy, manufacturing, and medicines information, preferably in a hospital setting.Advanced knowledge of, and experience implementing, the standards, relevant legislation, codes of practice and workplace guidelines and frameworks relevant to the area of practice.Demonstrate advanced communication, negotiation, conflict management and professional leadership skills.The Team: The LGH is Tasmania's second largest hospital and the major referral centre for Northern Tasmania, providing inpatient and ambulatory services to Launceston and surrounding areas and is the largest employer in the region with around 4000 staff.
The LGH has 349 beds (excluding mental health inpatient beds).
Details of AppointmentPermanent, full time, shift worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Notwithstanding, hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022.You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Please note that access to salaries beyond $130,900 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.In addition, a market allowance of $10,000 per annum pro rata is approved until 17 May 2026, this allowance will be reviewed prior to expiry.
