What you'll doAs the Team Leader for our Children's Contact Service (CCS), you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and effective management of the program. Working closely with the Centre Manager, you will provide leadership, supervision, and direct service delivery where needed. You'll be responsible for overseeing a casual workforce, managing client cases, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed services to families. You'll also support children through court-ordered contact visits, work with complex client needs, and guide your team through service delivery and compliance processes. You'll:
Complete assessments for families with court-ordered contact arrangementsManage intake procedures for families navigating complex issuesSupervise, train, and onboard a casual workforce, ensuring staff are well-supported and motivatedProvide orientation for children aged 0–17 in preparation for contact visitsFacilitate changeover sessions where children safely transition between parentsRespond to subpoenas, ensuring confidentiality through redaction and reportingBalance administrative duties with direct client service delivery to support effective team functioningThe detailsPermanent part-time role based in Blacktown4 days a weekApprox $55-56 per hour (depending on skills & experience), 11.5% super, 17.5% leave loading and tax-free salary packaging up to $15,900.What you'll bringQualifications and/or demonstrated competencies in supervision, couple or family therapy, family dispute resolution, mediation, counselling, group work, workplace training, psychotherapy, case managementStrong experience working with families and children in a post-separation or child protection contextDemonstrated competence and understanding of working within a trauma-informed frameworkCollaborative team player who fosters a supportive environment, motivating and empowering peers and junior staff to excelProven ability to lead, supervise, and support a team, including training and onboarding staffWhy work with us?Make a genuine difference to the relationship wellbeing of individuals, couples and families; every day!Strong clinical and supervision framework to deepen our practice excellenceWork alongside people who truly care about what you achieve.
