The program also provides support to women outside the residential facility, including a Launch Housing rooming house located in the St Kilda area.
The Team Leader – Case Management is responsible for overseeing and supervising the Case Management team at the East St. Kilda crisis accommodation site for women, and reports to the Coordinator – Case Management.
The case management model is delivered through a feminist, strength based and trauma informed lens, to maximise independence and minimise service dependence, with a primary focus on empowering women to navigate their health and wellbeing needs in order to achieve their goals.
The Team Leader – Case Management acts as a mentor to help facilitate and enhance on-the-job performance of case managers by reviewing casework, managing caseloads, and ensuring effective client outcomes. The role holds a client case load within the Launch Housing rooming house, and co-case manages clients at the crisis accommodation at times. It is also part of the on-call roster to support other sites after-hours when required.
Launch Housing East St Kilda is one of the only crisis services in Victoria to employ and accommodate women (including trans and gender diverse individuals who identify as female). As such, only candidates who are women or who identify as female will be considered. Position Details: • Permanent, part-time, 68.4 hours per fortnight
• $50.76 per hour + super + NFP salary packaging

What you'll be doing: Providing leadership using a best practice and feminist leadership approach to the Case Management Staff, and overseeing activities at the East St Kilda Women Services crisis site to ensure the provision of consistent and high-quality services.Coordinating the induction and training of new staff members and facilitating ongoing training and development opportunities.Ensuring the appropriate supervision and performance development of East St Kilda staff, in accordance with relevant Launch Housing policies and procedures.Ensuring team compliance with all Launch Housing policies, procedures and relevant practices, as well as aligning with relevant legislative, regulatory and policy requirements.Assisting in managing critical incidents and other risks that arise at the facility in accordance with Launch Housing policy and DFFH requirements.Participation in the on-call roster.What we're looking for (key selection criteria): Have a relevant tertiary qualification (desirable).Demonstrated experience in the delivery of services to clients with complex needs, whom are pregnant and experiencing homelessness.Demonstrated understanding of housing and homelessness policy, context and systems.Sound understanding of dual diagnosis.Ability to work effectively with people experiencing complex life stress with past / present trauma experiences.Demonstrated ability to provide co-case management with multi-disciplinary services in order to provide effective client solutions.Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.Well-developed organisational and time management skills.Demonstrated commitment to the values of Launch Housing and our mission to end homelessness.For further information please contact: Vanessa Hulands - ****** How to apply: To apply for this opportunity, please click on "Apply for this job" button.
