Full time Monday – Friday position with weekends and sleepovers as needed.SCHCADS Award Level 5. Salary range is $97,378 – $101,788 + Superannuation + Penalties as relevant.Government funded until 31 December 2026 with possible extension.Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of Residential Support Workers and work with the Program Coordinator on the day to day running of the house.Lead the provision of quality trauma informed care aligned to the Hope and Healing Framework to children placed with the service.Uphold the imperative of quality care for children whilst maintaining the intent of the program to develop a local, sustainable service.Lead the team in the creation and fostering of a warm, structured, secure environment and maintain an accepting and supportive relationship with family and community contacts of each young person.About You Tertiary qualification would be well regarded.Hold or in process of completing a Degree in Community Services or another relevant field.Hope and Healing Foundations Framework certificate.Demonstrated skills and experience working within a trauma informed framework.Experience in managing disruptive behaviours and mentoring of employees through challenging situations to ensure children in the house are given the best level of care.Other Requirements Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.Willingness to undergo and pass a Suitability Check for out-of-home care services.Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).Current Senior First Aid certificate or the ability to acquire one.About Applying Job applications will be reviewed as soon as submitted.
