$90,000 - $110,000 a year Full time, Permanent 3 days ago , from Aspire Support Services Excellent leadership opportunity available!The Team Leader will work with and motivate the members of the Behaviour Support team to provide quality and specialist behaviour support through assessments, observation and analysis, and the provision of support services and assistance in the development and evaluation of behaviour support and intervention programs for children, young people and adults with disability. The Team Leader liaises closely with the NDIS and will have chargeable targets for themselves and the team to meet. The Team Leader will coach and mentor team members and liaise with Senior Management on a regular basis and as issues arise.Aspire works alongside people with disabilities and their families to achieve their goals and aspirations. We provide a variety of services in and around Albury/Wodonga.If you would like to work alongside customers and their families, in a direct or indirect capacity to achieve their goals and aspirations then this role is suitable for you.Aspire's values are: Integrity, Inclusive, Connection, Excellence and Understanding.Duties include but are not limited to:Ability to motivate, mentor, coach and supervise staff whilst working within a team environment.Responsible for recruiting, induction and maintaining a workforce that meets the needs of customers and standards of the organisation.Provide regular coaching and role modelling to ensure team members work collaboratively and effectively as a team.Conduct performance reviews to evaluate staff performance. Implement performance improvement plans as and when needed.Conduct three month and six-month probation reviews with new employees.Facilitate team meetings - prepare agendas, distribute minutes and other relevant documentation.Improve the wellbeing of people with a disability through the delivery of services that are quality, evident and human rights based.Understand and practice according to Aspire's Mission, Values and overall strategies.Deliver person centred services by working with families and their support networks gathering insight, building understanding and sharing knowledge.Plan and deliver behaviour support services in accordance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework, particularly where restrictive practices are required.Provide positive behaviour support to people with complex behaviours of concern and provide on the job support and coaching to the team.Establish effective and collaborative relationships with all staff, parents, carers, volunteers and other service providers and relevant community members or organisations to ensure their participation in planning, decision making and reporting.Maintain accurate records of customer progress.Prepare assessments, observations and progress reports as required.Prepare customer reports including timely and effective file notes, support plans, reports and correspondence presented in a professional manner and within Aspire's requirements.Adhere to Aspire's work, health and safety policies and procedures including risk management by undertaking safety risk hazard assessments if required.Complete timely and accurate incident reports.Complete mandatory reports when required.Responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.The successful candidate will reap the benefits of:Competitive/negotiable annual remuneration package, based on skills and experience.Flexible working arrangements (flexible working hours and days).Salary packaging offered (up to $15,900 per annum, plus travel and entertainment card of $2,500, plus option to apply for novated leasing on your vehicle).Access to company vehicle (or kilometer reimbursement of your own vehicle), mobile phone, tablet and laptop.Ongoing career development and progression opportunities.External Clinical Supervision.Experience working with a diverse range of age groups.Qualifications (pre-requisite to apply):Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or associated clinical field.A current registration to practice as a core, proficient or advanced behaviour support practitioner in accordance with the NDIS Capability Framework, or willingness to undertake the self-audit requirements to achieve registration.You must also hold (or be willing to obtain):NDIS Worker Screening Check.Current Drivers License.NSW WWCC.VIC WWCC.Applications:To obtain a copy of the Position Description or for more information, please email ****** or contact our friendly HR Team via 0260584***.We look forward to reviewing your application.
