As the Team Leader Asset Systems, you will oversee and lead a team of technical specialists, asset information professionals, and consultants, to ensure the effective management of assets in line with SRW's Asset Management Policy. Reporting to the Manager Asset Management, you will play a crucial role assisting with the oversight and delivery of key asset management projects and initiatives.
A key focus of this role will be leading the uplift of Asset Information Systems and Data across SRW. You will champion best practices in asset management, foster consistency and excellence in asset related processes, and promote continuous improvement in regulatory compliance, and system efficiency.
This position would suit a proactive leader who is passionate about shaping and advancing asset management practices to achieve high standards.
As the Team Leader Asset Systems, some of your responsibilities will include:
Assist the Manager Asset Management in overseeing and delivering asset management projects and initiatives.Lead the Asset Management team in promising safety and continuously improving its safety culture.Lead the integration of Asset Management Information Systems (AMIS) with internal systems, including finance, document storage, operational, SCADA, and GIS platforms.Ensure timely delivery of asset systems initiatives, including system plans, asset data frameworks, asset management plans, and problem statements, to meet business needs.Coordinate asset inspections and scheduled maintenance activities, ensuring effective data collection and collaboration across SRW teams.About you The successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate some of the desired experience and abilities below:
Qualification: A tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline, making the applicant eligible for full membership of Engineers Australia or equivalent.Additional credentials: Qualifications in Asset Management, Project Management, Business Management, Water Industry, or Construction are highly desirable.Asset Management Knowledge: A strong understanding of asset lifecycle management and asset management principles, with demonstrable expertise in the field.Leadership and Teamwork: Capable of building effective teams, fostering collaboration, and resolving challenges with a supportive and inclusive approach.Commitment to continuous improvement: Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and practices, streamline processes, and develop innovative solutions for program development.How to Apply Applications should be made online by clicking 'Apply' before midnight Sunday 5 January 2024 or by visiting our website: www.srw.com.au
