Team Leader Aod & Mental Health Training & Capacity Building

Details of the offer

You will lead developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that meet community needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and funding requirements.
This includes managing staffing, operations, and administrative functions to ensure smooth program delivery.
Collaboration with the Voices Vic program is key, particularly in delivering Hearing Voices training.
You will also create strategic plans, set objectives, and allocate resources for effective service delivery.
You will oversee program data collection, analysis, and reporting, using evidence-based practices to drive improvement.
Program evaluations will be conducted to assess outcomes and inform decision-making.
In addition, you will manage budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and prepare grant applications to support program sustainability.
Finally, you will conduct needs analyses to ensure training and capacity-building activities meet community needs.
Your skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or another health-related field.
A Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment is highly desirable.
We are looking for someone with lived or living experience as a consumer of mental health and/or AOD services and experience working in the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) sector and/or the Mental Health sector.
Strong people leadership and project management experience and a proven track record in coordinating, developing, and delivering training and skills development programs are essential.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and maintain effective partnerships are also required.
Experience working with individuals from forensic backgrounds or those facing AOD and/or mental health challenges is desirable.
