Team Leader and Classroom Teacher, K to Year 6 Knox Grammar School is an independent, multi-campus Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school for boys, located at Wahroonga on Sydney's North Shore. In addition to the single-sex campuses, Knox also operates Wahroonga Preparatory School, a co-educational campus for students Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6.

ABOUT THE ROLE
An opportunity has arisen at Knox Grammar Preparatory School for full-time permanent, experienced Classroom Teachers K to 6, and a 12-month fixed term Team Leader, beginning Term 1, 2025. The Team Leader will be responsible for curriculum leadership, the effective day-to-day management of the team, demonstrating quality leadership and modelling desired behaviours, standards and outcomes.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
An ability to build and lead a cohesive team and seek optimal outcomes for staff and students
A highly performing classroom teacher
A deep understanding of inquiry pedagogy and practice
The ability to think creatively and critically about best practice
A willingness to question pedagogical practice and engage in rigorous discussion about curriculum innovation and change
A strong understanding of, and ability to implement, effective assessment practice
A strong ability to analyse data with a view to responsive programming to meet learner needs
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and the capacity to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
