$5 557.50 - $5 798.90 p.f, + 12.75% Super
Please note: This role may also be filled by a Nurse Manager as per attached Role Description.
The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Team Leader (Alcohol and Other Drugs Service) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Provide efficient and responsive Alcohol and Other Drugs and mental health care, utilising advanced level of knowledge, and skills in the area of clinical practice and addictions.
Maintain high level interpersonal and communication skills with members of the multidisciplinary team, consumers and visitors to the service.
Develop a dynamic, flexible, resilient and skilled workforce through effective staff management and professional development opportunities.
Integrate and operationalise key objectives and strategies for a work-based culture that promotes and supports education, learning, research and workforce development.
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
A tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Social Work.
AHPRA Registration (Occupational Therapist and Psychologist only).
Eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (Social Worker only).
Driver Licence.
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B.
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost).

The Gold Coast Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (AODS) is a specialist service that provides a range of treatments for individuals experiencing severe and complex drug and alcohol challenges and their families.
The Gold Coast Health AOD service provides a range of community-based programs across the Gold Coast region as well as hospital-based Consultation Liaison services across both Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospitals.
