Team Leader, Administration/Property Services (VPSG3) Job posted: 23/05/2024 Reference: VG/E20044970 Occupation: Administration/Secretarial Salary Range: $74,580 - $90,558 Work location: Western Region | Stawell About the role To provide oversight and supervision of VPS personal, will be responsible for all supervision of the team for administration, correspondence, property and personnel functions across the Police Service Area (PSA). To be engaged with the recording, secure storage and handling of property items (exhibits ect) in Police Storage. Will include exposure to various items, including firearms and prohibited substances (all of which, will be rendered safe prior to handling). Will be responsible for coordinating the team to ensure equity of roles and be able to manage members from multiple work locations. Supervise and undertake station administration and be accountable for providing motivation, performance feedback and coordination of training activities to team members, as appropriate. As the successful applicant your duties will include: Management and oversight of VPS staff engaged in exhibit handling. Management of administration personal (Including remotely at Ararat and St Arnaud) Assisting in Station Administrative duties as required Minute taking and other reporting. Development and Welfare requirements of VPS personal As the successful applicant, you will have: Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong work ethic Ability to work in a small team Strong understanding and adherence to data and information security practices  Requirements and relevant information The usual place of work will be Stawell Police complex, 9 Patrick Street Stawell. You will be required to attend at Ararat and St Arnaud Police station as part of supervision duties and you may be expected to work out of any location within Western Region Division 4, as required.
