About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Team Leader to oversee and guide our Administration team and provide support to the Manager.
As the Team Leader of Administration, you will oversee a dynamic team responsible for delivering high-quality administrative support and ensuring compliance with community regulations.
Your leadership and expertise will be pivotal in maintaining efficient processes, enhancing team performance, and contributing to the overall success of the Community Compliance Department.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Administration team, providing guidance, support, and performance management to ensure high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop and implement administrative procedures and systems that streamline operations and improve service delivery.
Coordinate and oversee the preparation and management of reports, documentation, and correspondence related to community compliance matters.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to address compliance issues and ensure alignment with council policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and analyse team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Handle complex administrative tasks and resolve any issues or concerns raised by team members or external stakeholders.
This Team Leader position within a leading Local Government Council provides the opportunity to drive positive culture change and really make a positive impact for both the organisation and our community.
About You: Extensive experience in Local Government administration or customer service.
Proven methods for creating a cohesive and positive team environment.
Strong and clear customer service skills with the ability to effectively assess customer needs and resolve disputes.
Tertiary qualifications in business management or other related discipline and/or extensive practical experience in a related field.
The ability to lead the team and provide mentoring, coaching and development.
Manage staff rosters and allocate work to achieve Key Performance Indicators of the team.
The ability to manage a high workload, organise and obtain compliance with the relevant legislation at a very fast pace.
