Job Overview This is a fixed term, full-time position for 12 months. You will take a leading role in our organization, joining a fast-growing team of sustainability experts at thinkstep-anz, a locally-owned B Corp business with an approved Science Based Target.
You can be based in one of our offices in Pukerua Bay (Wellington), Auckland, or Sydney. Other locations in New Zealand or Australia or remote working will be considered for the right candidate.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities Provide oversight, analytical insight, and technical review of LCA and EPD projects Provide technical guidance to the team Manage and deliver projects with a particular focus on LCA Manage key accounts in New Zealand, Australia, and globally Provide thought-leadership Write and review project reports, executive summaries, and presentations Develop bespoke impact reporting projects and solutions for clients at all stages of their sustainability journey Work closely with the strategy, circular economy, and carbon teams in New Zealand and Australia to deliver integrated solutions Translate delivered projects into tangible business outcomes for clients Quality assurance of LCA and EPD projects Ensure your projects adhere to scope, schedule, budget, and quality Skills and Experience Excellent experience in LCA methodology and standards across different industries Proven understanding of environmental and sustainability topics Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Proven experience in guiding a team and providing technical mentoring Master in using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel Proven understanding of the need for data integrity Proven ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality Proven ability to take responsibility and to show initiative Resilient and proven ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment Strong attention to detail and good follow-through Proficiency in English language communication skills, and strong numeracy skills 8+ years of relevant work experience Have a relevant University degree in engineering, environmental science, or a similar discipline Why thinkstep-anz?
